GRIZZLY G0555 14-Inch Bandsaw Reviews
Best Features:
Cutting Capacity
Grizzly G0555 14-inch bandsaw is a machine where you get a deep throat depth of about 13 ½ inches, which, if you ask us, is pretty nice and generous for a band saw in its class.
You can hand down saw through both wood and metal in this band saw since we’d easily label this guy to be mid to high level powerful. Heavy-duty, no doubt. As for the cutting height, you can saw stocks that are as high as 6 inches! Not bad. Not bad at all.
Angular Cutting
As for the table on the G0555 Ultimate Bandsaw, it is made from high quality and durable precision-ground cast iron table. This table measures 14 by 14 inches, a square table, therefore, and can offer you some amazing beveling.
You can furthermore tilt the table up to 45 degrees to the right, and 15 degrees to the left. This, therefore, opens up the G0555 Ultimate Bandsaw to some amazingly, versatile and angular sawing actions which you will appreciate a lot!
Power
The G0555 Ultimate Bandsaw is undoubtedly a powerful machine. Some of its prominent credentials include its massively powerful 1 HP motor which runs on a solid 11 amps at 110V and 5.5 amps at 220V.
This, as you can see already, means you furthermore enjoy the benefits dual voltage. Something we don’t see in band saws these days! Very impressive.
Blade
The blades of a band saw, or any saw for that matter is the most important and critical part of it. And the G0555 Ultimate Bandsaw clearly pays attention.
This Bandsaw uses a blade that is 92 ½ inches in length. But you can also try a 93 ½-inches. As for the width, the range is from 1/8 of an inch to ¾ of an inch, but the one you get with the purchase is a 3/8-incher.
Let’s Watch a Video Review!
Speed
One of the best things about Grizzly G0555 the Ultimate 14-Inch Bandsaw reviews, for us at least, is that this band saw offers you 2 variable speeds. One at 1500 fpm and the other at 3200 fpm. This, therefore, means more control and adjustability over how to saw your materials.
And furthermore, with the quick-release blade tension lever and a fence scale with magnifying window, you control every step and action of the machine, the way you like it. And more control equals better precision. Always.
Construction And Build
Next up, we will look into the design and make of this bandsaw. The G0555 Ultimate Bandsaw is not a compact machine by any means, but it is easily one of the less bulky ones. It measures 26 3/8 x 66 1/2 x 30 ¼ inches in dimensions.
As for weight, this machine reaches almost up to 200 pounds. Noting uncommon of heavy-duty bandsaws so we are not disappointed at all.
As for the materials used in the making of this amazing band saw, you have a steel frame, cast iron table and computer balanced cast aluminum wheels with rubber tires with Upper & lower ball bearing blade guides.
Sadly, however, despite having being made of such quality materials, it seems to hit the mark with quality assembly. We have come across instances where you have heaps of misaligned parts where things will chip, wiggle or just not fit right.
We are furthermore kind of mad that bandsaw from a good brand as Grizzly doesn’t have a headlight over the working table. It isn’t the most expensive machine out there, but it sure as heck isn’t cheap so our disappointment is only normal.
And if you think you could seek help and assistance from the company’s customer service, well, forget about it. They have a rep of being indifferent and unhelpful brats.
Highlights
On the plus side, the G0555 Ultimate Bandsaw does come with handy working accessories like a miter gauge and a rip fence.
You furthermore get a very nice, 4-legged and heavy gauge steel stand included in the purchase!

Final Note
And that was Grizzly G0555 The Ultimate 14-Inch Bandsaw reviews for you. Let’s face it, the G0555 isn’t perfect. It is in fact far from it. The uneven parts, the unfruitful customer service, and a personal dislike, the absence of the overhead lamp.
But we have to admit, it is darn powerful. It does its job, is effective and is not bad for its price, overall. It may be a headache at first, but its performance should win you up over time. Not a bad buy.
